We are on latitude 1 degree south so soon we’ll be crossing
back over the equator. I heard we’d be
putting the clocks back again tonight, bringing us 8 hours ahead. Why do I find
it so hard to calculate 8 hours ahead? It was a doddle when it was 12, but the
brain struggles with 8. However I am glad that we are moving closer again and
will have a larger window for chat and skype.
Today’s sea day has been lovely, dry and warm, at a very
pleasant 28C. We have very happily walked, revised the foxtrot, jive and waltz,
painted a bird on the wing, had drinks in Phil and Debbie’s cabin and had a wonderful
dinner, which was rounded off by a
meringue swan on a nest of sticky toffee cream.
